Afternoon Tea.

Our dear friend Cathie from Melbourne Epicure hosted an afternoon tea on Sunday.... to raise money for The Cancer Council.

A grand total of $1274.00 was raised!

What an absolute success, somehow think that Miss Cathie will make this an annual event.

There were so SO many gorgeous treats made with special "m.e." love
(HELLO Lemon Tart!)
I think our tummies are all still smiling.

Along with such amazing prizes won by the lucky raffle ticket holders.

Wow an awesome night!

It was Spunkerella's first visit to The Roller Derby & we LOVED it.

I urge every one of you to get to the next bout in your city or town... we truly had a blast.

Set at the Showgrounds under the big top the atmosphere was amped with loads of energy.

It may have had something to do with local Melbourne Funk band The Charlies .... or maybe it had a little something to do with all those gorgeous gals in their derby shorts!

Miss Melissa Bergland strutted her stuff on the red carpet for the first time wearing her very own stunning Emerald Green custom made frock from Hellpixie along with a bit of a Pettiflirt underneath!

Skye, Hellpixies' owner/designer woke Monday morning to find her gorgeous superb fitting gown had made it on several "Worst dressed lists"

Soon after posting this, Hellpixie's Facebook wall was inundated while being filled with support and
praise for the stunning 50's inspired dress along with how fabulous Melissa looked in it.

Hellpixie's Facebook page
"Utter nonsense! This "Fashion Don't" is evidence only that the twits at News Corp are so blinded by spray-tan and misogyny that they couldn't recognise a beautiful gown if it flew up their jacksie. I can not tell you how excited we are to be heading to Geelong (Victoria) this Sunday bringing Spunkerella to the exquisite Piccadilly Market.

Hmmmm the word waterfront really brings a smile to my dial... with "Views across Geelong's Eastern Beach" I think the venue alone sounds Divine!

Piccadilly Market Manager and local entrepreneur Miss Janina Lear has been an absolute Wonder Woman... in the last week adding the final magical Christmas touches to what will be a truly fabulous Market, my goodness she even moved house during the week! ( what on earth were you thinking Janina! )

So guys and gals a great reason to come and visit Piccadilly this Sunday... as everything is under the one roof to make this years Christmas shopping experience easy and fun.

I love the sound of groovy tunes, great coffee and some yummy food so come and enjoy.

Wow we have been busy and it seems we have our hands in a few cookie jars this month!
We absolutely love being regulars at The Rose Street Artists' Market.
The fact that so many of our Spunkerella friends swing by to say hello (ahem and add to their collection) warms our little hearts ♥ Thank you.

Sunday morning, telly playing video clips, dancing around the kitchen seems to be a weekend tradition ... and it goes back as far as I can remember.

Yes we did tip toe ♥

What a wonderful weekend filled with a sea of colour.

It began with that Ohhhh is it that time already?

I was so keen to start the day and in fact could not really sleep ( hmmm or was it that I was not organised) I was up till the wee hours colour coordinating a kaleidoscope mountain of pettiskirts .

So poor Mr chofer husbaroonie was pulled from bed after thinking "Ahhhh another hours sleep is ahead of me" oh how wrong he was, daylight savings had begun...yes the clock said 5am ... but it was in fact 6 am, and we had to leave in an hour!

Cut to the chase, we made it to Tesselaar Tulip Festival and Miss Amanda summed it all up .....WOW .... WOW breathtaking. I think I have found my new happy place!

So with five spunkerella's and their awesome mums in tow we managed to shoot amongst the tulips.

Yes it was a bit Chili, yes the ground was damp, but we managed to have smiles and giggles & only did that drizzle of rain come when we were snapping up our last shots, we were so lucky.

Anyone who is in Melbourne you must go and check out the festival... we were truly spoilt cause it was the Food, Wine and Jazz weekend ( ahem did somebody say wine?) we just loved it.

A huge thank you to the mums who made it all possible to get your darling little sweethearts to the shoot ..... Sarah, Georgia, Emily, and Miss Chloe what fun you girls are thank you.

And To Rachael.... who is going to look so HOT at the races *wink wink thank you gorgeous, we had a wonderful day at the festival what a fun day ... great memories.

To the men ... Mr Paul and Jesse well you both rock ...thank you.

Amanda ...what no shooting today? thank you thank you thank you!

Oh, I wish I had a pettiskirt, I'd wear it everyday;

With leggings, shirts and sandals,

Or even my PJ's;

Oh I wish I had a pettiskirt, to drive my mummy crazy;

I'd insist I wear it everywhere,

so she could not be lazy,

with the washing of my pettiskirt, for washing it would need!

I love to play in mud and dirt,

no warnings will I heed,

To be careful with my pretty clothes or they will get all dirty!

In fact I think it's quite a hoot, when mummy gets all shirty.

So, if I had a pettiskirt, I can truely tell,
